Originals Artist Membership


Every individual is an original, a one of one with a unique story and lens through which they view the world. The BNCFC Originals Membership is a program designed specifically for unheard creative voices to express that perspective throughout the year and have that work showcased and published.

Step 1 - Check Eligibility

Adults Living with illness, Disability, 65+ who are residents (current or past) of/have a connection to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland or the state of Tennessee, United States.

Step 2 - Registration

Registration is open year round and is free of charge. If you meet the eligibility requirements above ^ then email the following information to mail@bncfc.org to get your profile up and running.

  • Area(s) of Culture & Arts which you are interested in e.g. Poetry

Step 3 - Receive your Registration Pack

Explore Notes as a source of inspiration and through the course of the year, use Hapmo and look to build up a body of work in whatever creative medium you feel most at home with.

Step 5 - Contribute your Work to The Hapmo Almanac

Edited in Belfast and available in print and online, The Hapmo Journal is an annual journal launching in 2025 that publishes the work of individuals who are part of The BNCFC’s Originals Member Program from Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and the state of Tennessee, United States.

Submit up to 3 pages of work (e.g. poetry, lyrics, essay, drawing, painting, photography, film stills etc.) with captions to mail@bncfc.org for publication in The BNCFC Journal (available in print and online). Work must be non-partisan, non-sectarian and non-divisive. Deadline for submission to the journal is September 1st each year.
